Late 18th century-1800. Made in Albacete. 10 7/8” elongated leaf-shaped diamond section blade. Iron cross guard and ribbed barrel form antler grip. Highly regarded and used throughout Spain, these are particularly associated with Basque Resistance during Spain alliance with Napoleon, 1803-08.
